Pre-Announcement for August 2022 Call for Proposals
The Oregon Conservation and Recreation Advisory Committee is pleased to announce an upcoming opportunity for funding for conservation and recreation projects in the 2021-2023 biennium. The Oregon Conservation and Recreation Fund has already supported 61 projects in the since forming in early 2020. We thank those of you who participated in the previous request for proposals and those of you that continue to support the program with the legislature.
The Committee anticipates that current round of funding will include:
Online grant applications opening August 12th, 2022, and closing October 7th, 2022, with grant applications accepted for approximately 60 days.
The maximum allowable grant request per institution and/or organization will be $50,000.
Any public or private non-profit organization may request funds. Private non-profit organizations must have tax-exempt status under the IRS Code Section 501(c)(3).
A newly required cap on institutional/organizational indirect overhead rates at 20% of the requested project budget.
Updated project insurance guidelines.
The Committee’s is currently working on updating their expenditure framework, criteria for the selection process, application form, and examples of successful project applications. These updated materials will be available on the Committee’s website on August 12th, 2022, when applications for the August 2022 request for proposals officially opens.
