THE GIST

We (the folks comprised of OCRF) are passionate about Oregon conservation and are making a public appeal to help us reach our donation goal so that we can collectively continue to enjoy Oregon’s natural resources and protect its wildlife. We are not looking to sell or use any data or personal information for anything other than to thank you for your donating to Oregon’s future. All donation go through our partner and registered 501(c)(3) organization, Oregon Wildlife Foundation. They have been stewards of Oregon’s fish, wildlife, and natural resources for forty years.

TERMS OF SERVICE

The following terms and conditions govern all use of the Oregon Conservation & Recreation (oregonisalive.org) website and all content, services and products available at or through the website. The website is owned and operated by Oregon Wildlife Foundation, with contributing efforts by OCRF Advisory Committee members, and the Department of Fish and Wildlife. This website is offered subject to your acceptance without modification of all of the terms and conditions contained herein and all other operating rules, policies, and procedures that may be published from time to time on this site by Oregon Conservation & Recreation Fund operators.

We will be constantly striving to provide excellent service to you, supporters of Oregon’s future, while building a long-lasting relationship with you. To achieve these goals, we occasionally need information about you when you visit our site. First and foremost, Oregon Wildlife Foundation and those managing the Oregon Conservation & Recreation Fund respect your right to privacy. When you visit this website, you may be providing information on two different levels about your visit: anonymous statistics collected as you browse the site and personal information you knowingly give us. We've elaborated below to let you know how we handle this information.

Statistics

As you browse the site, our web servers collect information about your visit, not about you personally. Via web server logs, we monitor statistics such as:

Personal Information You Knowingly Give Us

When donating you may be asked to give us personal in order to complete a form submission or to contact us via our contact form. This information may range from your generic zip code, to your specific phone number, email address, organization URL and mailing address. We do not give this information away to any other organization or group. We do not sell or utilize personal information outside of the campaign for Oregon Conservation & Recreation Fund.

Forms

The donation form requires users to give us accurate contact information, like name and email address, references that help us better serve you. Your name and email address may be used to send you information about our campaign, updates, and information. You may always remove your name entirely from databases. How We Use Information

To improve our site - information may be collected to help create site content and navigation that is most relevant and user friendly.

To respond to user inquiries and requests for information - this includes registration for newsletters and specific requests for further information.

We do not engage in the practice of selling our customer lists or customer information to third parties. However, we do from time to time, engage in joint marketing or other similar arrangements with responsible companies, and in the course of such activities may share our customer information with such parties, which sharing may result in communications by such parties to you. This sharing is done solely as a result of our belief that the information communicated to you by such parties will be of interest to you.

Method of Transaction Security

When you make a donation through OCRF you will be using Oregon Wildlife Foundation’s (myowf.org) secure donation form. You are transferred from an unsecured web server to a secured web server which utilizes SSL (Secure Socket Layer).  Electronic payments should ONLY be made on servers that utilize SSL. The SSL is located on a web site server that is separate from ALL myowf.org services and business locations.  This secure site is where the actual transaction takes place and where all secure personal information such as credit card numbers, expiration dates or mailing addresses are stored.  This secure site is located at a U.S. bank in the United States of America NOT at Oregon Wildlife Foundation.

Oregon Wildlife Foundation does not store credit card information on or in its business location.

Oregon Wildlife Foundation does not take a percentage of your donation, nor does your donation fund Oregon Wildlife Foundation projects. Because Oregon Wildlife Foundation is a coalition member of OCRF, they have taken on the responsibility of simply managing the OCRF’s public campaign and administer the processing of donations from this website (oregonisalive.org).
